ToSByte Method (TdDecimal)

Converts the value of the specified TdDecimal to the equivalent SByte.

Parameters

input: The TdDecimal that is to be converted to a 8-bit signed integer.

Return Value

An 8-bit signed integer equivalent to the specified TdDecimal is returned.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
TdException	The value is the TdDecimal is Null.
System.OverflowException	The TdDecimal could not be converted to a SByte

Remarks

When a TdDecimal that has a TdDecimal.Scale greater than 0 is converted to a 8-bit signed integer the fractional part of the number will be truncated.
