Equals(Object) Method

Compares this instance against to determine whether they are equal.

Parameters

obj: A TdPeriodDate that will be compared to this instance of TdPeriodDate.

Return Value

true is returned if the two TdPeriodDates are equal, false otherwise.

Remarks

In order for two periods to be equivalent both their beginning and ending bounds must be equivalent.

The boolean that is returned indicates the following conditions:

false will be returned if:

This instance or obj is TdPeriodDate.Null.
This instance is not equal to obj.
obj is not of type TdPeriodDate or null.

true will be returned if:

This instance and obj are Null.
This instance is equal to obj.
