ToString(String,IFormatProvider) Method



Teradata.Client.Provider Namespace > TdTime Structure > ToString Method : ToString(String,IFormatProvider) Method
The format string that will be used to format the TdTime.
The culture specific information used to generate the string equivalent of TdTime.
TdTime is converted into the equivalent String representation using the specified format and culture information.

Parameters

format
The format string that will be used to format the TdTime.
formatProvider
The culture specific information used to generate the string equivalent of TdTime.

Return Value

A string representation of the date in TdTime.
Remarks

If the format parameter is null, the format of the string representation of the timestamp will be "HH:mm:ss.ffffff;. In addition, the number of digits that will appear in the fractional seconds is dependent on the TdTime.Scale. For example, if the Scale is set to 4, four digits will appear in the fraction.

If this instance is TdTime.Null, a string that contains the value "Null" is returned.

The format specifiers that are supported are listed in TdTime.ToString. For additional information about the supported format specifiers refer to Globalization.DateTimeFormatInfo contained in the MSDN documentation.
