ToByte Method (TdDecimal)

Converts the value of the specified TdDecimal to the equivalent Byte.

Parameters

input: The TdDecimal that is to be converted to a 8-bit unsigned integer.

Return Value

An 8-bit unsigned integer value that is equivalent to the specified TdDecimal is returned.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
TdException	The value is the TdDecimal is Null.
System.OverflowException	The TdDecimal could not be converted Byte

Remarks

When a TdDecimal that has a TdDecimal.Scale greater than 0 is converted to a 8-bit unsigned integer the fractional part of the number will be truncated.
