ToString(String) Method



Teradata.Client.Provider Namespace > TdIntervalHourToSecond Structure > ToString Method : ToString(String) Method
The format string that will be used to format the TdIntervalHourToSecond.
Converts this instance to its equivalent String representation using the specified format.

Parameters

format
The format string that will be used to format the TdIntervalHourToSecond.

A string representation of the TdIntervalHourToSecond will be returned.

Remarks

This method supports the following format specifiers:

Format Specifier Description
G

General interval format.

[sign][hours]:[mm]:[ss].[ffffff]

L

Teradata literal format. This string may be used in generating SQL against the Teradata database.

INTERVAL [sign]'[hours]:[mm]:[ss].[ffffff]' HOUR TO SECOND

Below is the description of each format item.

Format Item Description
sign If negative a minus sign will be displayed.
hours The number of hours (one to four digits in length).
mm The number of minutes from 00 - 59.
ss The number of seconds from 00 - 59.
ffffff The number of fractional seconds (0 to 6 digits in length).

Cultural settings are not supported.
