Changes have been made to the provider to bring it inline to the ADO .NET Specification. The following changes may affect existing applications using the Teradata provider:
DbType.AnsiStringFixedLength
When the Size property of a parameter is set to a negative value an ArgumentException will be thrown.
A "Size = 0" is no longer allowed to be specified for out or inout parameters with a data type that is varying length (e.g. DbType.String, DbType.Binary).
The Size property will also be used to determine how much data is returned for out or inout parameters with data types that are varying length. For example, suppose Size = 10, DbType = DbType.String. The maximum length of the string that will be returned is 10.
