In Teradata Database Release 14.10 object names have been extended from 30 Latin or KanjiSJIS bytes to 128 Unicode characters. Object name support is affected by the session character set within the Data Provider. |
Redrive and Recoverable Network Protocol Support |
In Teradata Database Release 14.10 Redrive and Recoverable Network Protocol (RNP) were introduced. RNP and Redrive work together to re-establish a connection and redrive active requests after a network or a SQL Engine failure. |
