Parameters

format

The DateTime format string that will be used to format the TdTimestamp.

formatProvider

The culture specific information used to generate the string equivalent of TdTimestamp.

Return Value

If the format parameter is null, the format of the string representation of the timestamp will be "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss.ffffff hh:mm". In addition, the number of digits that will appear in the fractional seconds is dependent on the TdTimestamp.Scale. For example, if the Scale is set to 4, four digits will appear in the fraction.

The format specifiers that are supported are listed in TdTimestamp.ToString. For additional information about the supported format specifiers refer to Globalization.DateTimeFormatInfo contained in the MSDN documentation.
