ToInt16 Method (TdNumber)

Converts the value of the specified TdNumber into the equivalent Int16.

A 16-bit signed integer value that is equivalent to the TdNumber is returned.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
TdException	The value of input is Null.
System.OverflowException	The TdNumber could not be converted to Int16.

Remarks

When a TdNumber that has a scale greater than 0 is converted to a 16-bit signed integer the fractional part of the number will be truncated.
