Before upgrading to .NET Data Provider for Teradata version 17.20, please note this release includes three versions of the Teradata.Client.Provider assembly for:

• .NET Framework 4.6.2
• .NET Standard 2.0
• .NET 6

The following features are not available when using .NET Standard, .NET Core, or .NET 6:

• Configuration Files
• Performance Counters
• Entity Provider

Now requires .NET Framework 4.6.2 or higher

If your application requires a lower version of the .NET Framework, you will need to use an older version of the .NET Data Provider for Teradata.
